Sarah Zhang reports on a group of Danish researchers from the Technical University of Denmark who have been collecting international human waste. The researchers, along with a similar group based at MIT, are studying human feces to track disease and pathogen movement. Salmonella enterica is among the most common bacteria aboard flights from South Asia.
